Hi,
I'm a new member. I just wanted to say hi and ask if there is anyone out there that has toyed with a cat-back system for mkIII. I have a 2001 and I would like to replace the stock system with a less restrictive and a more throaty sound.

Thanks, I like it too that is what I was looking for when I bought it. It came with spoiler, toneau cove, leather seats, carbon fiber dash and with only 14,700 miles. I am so busy its been sitting in my garage for a month under a car cover since I bought it. I hope to take it out soon. I would eventually like to replace the exhaust system with a throatier high flow system.

This is the my newly purchased 2001 black on black MR2 with original 14,700 mi. It was kept in a closed garage under a car cover. I'm doing the same. It came with a spoiler, toneau cover, leather seats, and a carbon fiber dash. I would like to replace the stock exhaust with a high flow throaty exhaust. I like the TRD cat-back but $780.00 is a bit pricy. Plus, I have a problem with the engine bay latch does anyone else have this problem? It takes two people to open the engine bay rear hood.
