Another newb

Hi, My name is ****. I have been creeping around and reading as much info as I can on my days off, and now I joined. I am new to mr2's but not to auto forums or automotive at all. I am 18 and I am a huge car buff. My first love next to my girlfriend is dsm's. only 1st,2ndgen eclipses,and starions, evo's, and galant vr4,s.
But recently i came across a pic of a mr2 and started researching. I found this web site and became hooked on the idea of the v6 swap. I plan on selling my truck to buy a mkII mr2 N/A. I want to do mostly suspension mods until I get all the componets I need to do a swap of a v6.

Welcome and not to offend you or anything, refer to your self a Richard, its gonna save you A LOT of trouble here since, even here, there are some immature people. Good luck!

Hi ****,

Welcome to the Board!

Glad to have you here. There is a ton of info on the Board about the V6 swap your wanting to do so if you can't find an answer, simply ask and I'm sure someone will chime in with the best answer possible.

When you get your MR2, be sure to take pictures of it. If you find a car that is far away from you, and you need someone to check it out for you, just ask, it happens a lot. Its better to have a local check out the car since its so far away from you so you know what your buying.

Ahh! forum life feel's so good. I am a respected member of a dsm board(about 2000 post). I promise that I will search before I ask. And that local check thing seems awsome. I have been looking but no luck in illinios. This seems like a great forum so far. Oh yeah, is the mr2 only worth the money?

The MR2 Only mag is great and absolutely worth the money, not just saying that because I sell it. You wont get a hard time if you don't use the search, it's there as an option not a requirement.

The v6 makes for an awesome ride, just do it right and I think you will be very pleased. Welcome to the board man.
