Hey everyone.
I was invited to this board tonight by the man himself, Brian Hill. I met him at the local Starbucks to which he seen my car and was interested.

I just recently moved to Atlanta back in Aug. 2003 from Salt Lake City, Ut. A big change in weather and culture but there are some good hearted people in the south. I just graduated from Sandy Creek High School last May so I was stoked about that. Those years went by so fast. I'm currently taking a semester off till I have an idea on what major I want to get into.

When I got into the "Import" Scene back in 1998, I got my hands on a Sport Compact Car. It was the May edition to be exact. When I first took eye on their Project MR2 I just fell in love with the car itself. The fact it was mid-engine and just the body lines made it happen. I've owned an `01 GTI VR6, `91 240SX (S13), `92 Integra GSR (Aztec Green Pearl) and I just picked up my first MR2 last Friday (July 15th).

The car itself is a `93 Turbo. It's black on black/ivory leather....in my opinion.....a very sexy combination. The car had 106,811 miles on it when I picked her up. The car is basically stock besides the Tein HA coilovers, TKO exhaust and the Konig Villians F17x7.5 R17x9. I love the car so far and can't wait to do some mods of my own....especially with my grad. money I have coming in soon. Tonight was the first bad experince I had. A buddy of mine wanted to check out the local porn shop and as we were pulling in my battery completely died on me.

I'm just glad it was nothing more serious then that.

Anyways I that is a brief summary of me. I'll try and have some pics of the car later this week. Thanks for taking the time to read this and thanks again Brian.

battery dead at the pron shop. good stuff.

welcome aboard.

sounds like a great car other than the old battery. old batteries don't like heat or cold so no biggy. now you have to show us some pics.

It was very good to meet you Steve, and we are very happy to have another black MR2 in Atlanta. Very nice car and certainly worth waiting on you to return to talk to you.

I'm sure I'll be seeing you around the block sometime.

Sorry man, I've just had to work so much lately. I feel like I need to bring a tent and just live there. sad huh. Anyways, my alternator ended up going out the night I met you on my way home so I had to change that out......7-hrs worth of labor cause I was too stubborn to take off part of my exhaust. I'll never do that again.......for a while at least.

I had mentioned there being a meet up at Dragon's Trail on the 16-18th of Sept. You said it depends on who all goes, well the one person you said you really didnt care for is not coming so your more then welcome to join. It also happens to be NOPI weekend so I'm sure you'll be busy with that.

Anyways I thought I'd give you an update....if you want, give me a buzz sometime. If your ever in Peachtree City swing by Chili's where I work and I'll hook you up with some food. here's my number 404-626-9590.

well I modified it to clicking a link since I was having a hard time posting pics w/o red "x" showing up but if anyone wants to post pics on this thread feel free. I just couldn't get it to work for me. but yeah the link should work now.

Thanks but as you can see I need to get rid of those fugly aftermarket fogs. I want the OEM but am having a hard time finding some. I also need to get the 93+ from lip, the previous owner had hit a tire or something on I-85/75 one day and tore up the original and slapped this one on it. I'll try and get better pics one of these days when I'm not working.
