New to the Board

I currently have an '87 NA T-bar that I bought from a church auction for $2300. It is in good cosmetic shape--no rust but a crappy paint job, and good mechanical condition--90k miles but apparently loved by previous owners. I am nearing the end of my second degree and intend on restoring and doing tame upgrades when I can afford it again. I had an '89 SC in the early 90's and really enjoyed the car, so I will be either swapping an a GZE or possibly a 20V. I had to replace the muffler when I got the car on the road and used a Toyota supercharged muffler. Sounds a little deeper, and looks better due to the larger exhaust pipes. Pretty much bolted in, except for some flange mods to mate up to the cat. The suspension on the car needs some Viagra, and I am going to do this now. I want to retain as much of the comfort as possible while tightening it up a bit. My intention is to get the car to the point that it can show it's taillights to cofee-can exhausted lowered civics and the like, but not rattle the t-tops off or bruise my kidneys. This is my fifth 4AGE powered car('87 FX-16GTS, '88 FX-16, '86 AW11 NA, '89 AW11 SC). I have done most of the work on these cars myself, including engine replacements and am really looking forward to starting on this project. Parts I am looking for right now are: passenger side headlight motor, power antennae mast, A pillar/T-top cover piece trim part that the pin goes into, and a smaller aftermarket steering wheel. I live in Phoenix, AZ and use my MR2 as a daily driver currently. I also need to replace the windshield at some point due to scratches.

Welcome to the Board. I believe there are some other mr2 owners in your area.
