Hello All!

Im from Bristol, UK and am a member of a few of the UK owners clubs etc but thought it would be a good idea to join your forum and learn from your guys ideas and experiances too!

I got my MK1b April this year for a mear £850.00. It's my first MR2 and I'm hooked already! It's in good condition apart from abit of rust on the rear wheel arches and a few other bits and pieces!

I've had to replace the exhaust as the one that was on there fell off because it was so rotten but thats the only problem I've had which I think isn't too bad as the last owner has it for 12 years and only did 12000 in all that time (!)and been in the garage alot. It's now my only car and needs to do 30 miles a day! (I've done 1500 in 5 weeks!)

I need to now start thinking about replacing the worn number plates/wing mirrors/ariel(slightly on the bend!)/wheels and I want to try and find out why the interior light does not come on when the doors open!! (does work manually)

After that the first (of many?) mods i want is to fit Celica GTLimited front discs and pads. After some advice from the great guys of MR2Only mag it seems a nice simple mod to start with and i think the brakes could be better!

Then I'm hoping to fix the handling and then maybe start fidling with the engine!
