Hey guys my name is Patrick Harris. I'm not neccessarily *new* to MR2's, but I've been out of one for about 4 years now. The last one I had was pretty dang fast and fun, but I sold it after a divorce and splurged the new found money on a Twin turbo Supra. I have since built a 1994 RX-7 with LS6 T56 6-speed and a 150 shot of nitrous (it is ridiculously fast in damn-near every performance category), and also dabble pretty hard in GSX eclipses. I also am purchasing an 04 EVO on monday (guy is delivering here from 6 hours away). I don't do cars for a business, but could if I didn't make decent enough money in the AC as a Mechanical engineer / project manager.

Anyway, I just bought a 1991 MR2 turbo for 700.00 from my local paper (the car was 2 miles from my house). I could NOT beleive that I got it running just from jumping the car off with jumper cables!!! (Videos to prove it!!). I do a lot of road racing and autox and only intend the car to serve that purpose. I am also seriously considering it as a contendor for the GRM 2007 challenge.

That's a sweet deal for $700. I had a deal like that not too long ago. Good luck with the GRM 2008 challenge if you decide to run in it. You have to be the only person I know that still had money after a divorce.
