How much should I offer
Hello this is my first post and my first hour on the Mr2 Board I just recently decided that I want an MR2 and I currently have a rebuilt 1999 Honda Prelude with 77,000 miles on it and just looked at a super clean 1991 NA Mr2 with 61,000 miles t-tops with new leather seats and I was wondering how much I should offer him for the car as he did not set a price and I told him I would sell my car and make him an offer? If this falls through any suggestions on things to look for and any good NA deals from Florida to Connecticut I would jump on if the board suggested it as a good buy. Thanks in advance for all the help.

If it is SUPER clean and mechanically sound, maybe its actual value may be around $5-7K

It really depends on the area but for a MINT 60k mile '91 N/A I would say probably 5-7k like Ben suggested, but that depends on the area.
Around me deuces are very rare and tend to go for a premium and a MINT 60k mile '91 N/A would sell for about $6k (maybe the full 7k depending on the situation) but honestly I would never go that high for a '91 N/A unless it had ridiculously low miles, like <10k. For most areas I would say its worth about $5k. |

Thank you is 4800 a reasonable offer in floriida
The car is located in fort lauderdale florida and I live about 45 minutes from the cars location it sounds mechanically sound but the brakes seemed a little squeeky and it had a very clean interior with new s2000 seats the exterior had no dents or dings except a little sunspot in front of the back hood the car seemed to drive fine and it looked like a masterpiece I will offer 4800 as soon as I can and I will let you know what he says
