Greetings all. Man, it was about fifteen years ago I sold a Porsche (1986 944)to help raise money for my first venture into real estate. Then later, in 2002, when my 'commutemobile' (a 1982 Toyota Celica GT) finally kicked the bucket, I made the painful decision to be practical and replace it with another 'commutemobile,' a 2002 Subaru Outback Sport.

All this time though, I remained a diehard sportcar fanatic, and now finally have the resources to again partake. After a very thorough analysis (my girlfriend used the word "anal" instead of "thorough") which considered the Eclipse GSX, 300ZX Twin Turbo, S2000, MR2 MkII Turbo, and MR2 MkIII, I finally decided on the MkII Turbo. After much searching and Carfax reports, I eventually ended up with a black '93 Turbo with only 80,000 miles on it, no accidents, and in really pretty good shape.

I'm working to put it in better shape though, and am looking forward to learning from your background and sharing my progress and experiences on this website.

Welcome to the board James. Glad you made the switch to an MR2. You're going to love it and will be addicted for sure. Got any pics of that beauty?

Thanks Baktasht. I tried to upload a couple of pictures, but it didn't seem to work right. I'll keep working on it. I'll eventually post a couple of pictures and the window sticker. And yes, I'm really starting to bond with Mister Two!

Not sure where you're trying to upload your pics. Might try Gallery as well. You'll find that there are tons of MR2 folks on there
