Brand new excited MR2 owner!

All:

I've been posting a lot in the General forums when I first started searching for an MR2. I'm happy to announce that I bought MR2Turbz's daily driver red 1992 MR2 T-top. I'm so excited to get the car and start enjoying a nice eye-catching 2door RWD sportscar! I've owned several turbo cars since 1989 including 200SX Turbo, ProbeGT Turbo, Eagle Talon Tsi, RX7 Turbo II, and my beloved first new car the EVO 8. I need another car and I've always thought of getting the MR2 after my problems with the RX7.

I will try to keep the car stock-ish as possible and I plan on tracking her on a road course, drift course, and auto-x.

To tell you the truth, I think I might end up favoring the MR2 over my EVO (even though my EVO is more powerful).

I'll be visiting these forums daily, so get used to it! I hope to learn a lot about the MR2 and hopefully some of you can learn from me.

Oh, I'm also glad that I'm only 30 miles from ATS!! They will get my car the first week it arrives for some tuning!

Youll make that mr2 faster than ur evo in no time once the speed bug bites. After all the 3sgte has won more JGTC's than any other motor in JGTC history (or was that the racing version of the 3sgte, the 503e?)

Hehehe.. yea, it does look better than the evo.. and I can't say yet whether it's more fun to drive.. although it definitely looks like it will be!!

um, watch out with the drifting in your mr2 though. thats a very hard skill to master in a mr2.
