just saying hello.

Greatings my name is Aaron and im from Charlotte NC. I am the owner of a 91 MR2. My car is a 2.2 N/A motor, with a two tone white and black paint job. I bought it about six months ago. I am the third owner and it has 306798miles on the clock. I have only done the paint and stripped out the interior so far. I want to do a motor swap but im not sure what im doing yet, or what i can afford. Well thank you all for allowing me to join and i hope you all have a great day.

Did you say 306000 miles. Is that all original? I know Toyotas last a long time but that is still amazing.

As far as the group, be warned, you will need to know how to post pictures because these people are all about visual aids.

pictures of your odometer at 306k or it's a lie . Seriously, pics of everything, lol.

Go to google.com and type in image hosting and select one of the links. They'll have a button you press to browse your computer for images, select the image and hit ok/upload/whatever and then copy the address for a direct link. Come make a post and hit the little picture icon in the chat box and paste in the web address (known as URL). Any questions?

Images 101

1 - Get a utility to resize your images. You'll need to scale down some images before they can be used in either your posts, your Garage, or as an Avatar. The one available from Microsoft adds a selection when you right click an image that enables you to size it down

http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...ertoySetup.exe

2 - Find an image hosting site and create an account. Photobucket seems to be a popular one.

Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket

3 - Create an Avatar by finding a way cool graphic that you will want to appear under your ID when you post. Shrink it and then go to your User Control Panel and upload it from your PC as your Avatar.

4 - Create a Gallery of pictures that others can view when they go to your "Garage". Again go to your User Control Panel and go to vbPicGallery. Shrink the pictures and then upload them from your PC.

5 - Post pictures in the forum by uploading shrunk pictures to whatever image hosting site you are using. Once you have uploaded the pictures, you should then be able to create a URL to be used as a link in forums such as this one. The URL is then inserted into a post by selecting the little "mountain" icon at the top message area.
