Can any one help a brotha' from Dallas check over a Phoenix car?

I used to be a member of these boards about a decade ago when i had my beloved '89 black mk1 . i hit a patch of black ice, and lets just say that the light pole won

Thru all these years, I've never really stopped yearning for one. I've gone thru a fiero (don't laugh) prelude, maxima, miata, e36 & e46 m3s in the last 15 years, but nothing has really done it for like that car did. (i suspect this has a lot to do with the fact that it was around for lots of late teen adventures)

i've found what looks like a 4agze in decent shape. my problem is--its in phoenix and i'm in dallas. It looks great in pictures, but i really need someone knowledgeable to go test drive it and check for all the gremlins like the 5th gear popout, alignment, rust, performance, etc.

Can anyone help a brotha' out?

Gray 1989 MK1 SC

if i can find a somewhat knowledgeable Arizonian to help me out, i would be more than happy to compensate them for their troubles.

Cheers-

Thanks! Haven't done much with it yet tho, just recently finished the prothane bushing kit for everything but the steering rack. That and I haven't really been driving it since it has no AC and I'm in PHX lol.
