On my first post someone noted I need to show pictures

She's an 01 snaged it at a local Satrurn dealer . I was looking for an Miata , my daughter pointed it out to me and I fell in love .

Been thinking of a smily face pirate so I made one .

The stripe is carbon fiber , a local window tinter did it for me .He did a great job but $$$

Also carved a Kamakazie rocket plane OKA 11 . Its of the dash now w/ matching stripe ..... vis if you look close don't ask me why .

Also chatting w/Monkey Wrench about sticking a turbo kit in it ,we'll see .

Hahahah, I love the tweety bird floor mats!

Is that an OE yellow with black overlaid?

Welcome

Yellow is one of my favorite colors..... if you didn't notice. I hope you have a lot of fun with the car and it provides you with many years of great memories.

Thanks

Thanks guys It is OE paint w/ a carbon fiber film stripe .

I tried to stick w/ yellow and black scheme . I'm thinking of powder coating the wheels and calipers .

Other than that "Yellow Jacket" is stock , a friend dubbed it yellow jacket because it attracts them like crazy ! Last summer there would be several buzzing around when I would return from a store or whatever .

Not sure ,but I believe they think it's their "Mother Ship" . Anyway they dont bother me , I guess I'm the Daddy Jacket ?

I saw somewhere that insects are attracted to Yellow cars because they register it as daylight or something to that affect. I always see bugs trying to lite on my MR2 as well.
