new here but not to mr2's
hello all, well what can i say other than i love my 88sc. in fact i love it so much i had to go out and get a second one. i currently own an '88 sc 5spd that i got in '02 and an '88 sc a/t that i got in '06. i use the a/t as my daily driver and the 5spd as the weekend fun car. although the 5spd is down at the moment with a stretched rod bolt, danged n2o
. so while she's down i'm going to be converting her over to turbo . i'm going to use a mitsubishi 14b for now, that is until the motor is completely built (rods, pistons, cams, ect.). i have alot of work ahead of me but heck i've got time on my hands, lol.i also own a '90 mitsubishi eclipse gsx that i've done a ton of work to, between me and my friends we do most of our own work. anyway enough about me for now, see ya around. btw, if anyone is interested here is the link to my myspace page. basically it dedicated mostly to my cars, lol. Welcome! Two SCs, that's an interesting pair. Automatic SCs are surprisingly good. Stretching that rod bolt must have required some serious RPM. Nitrous should only be stressing the rod in compression, not tension. Scary. How big a hit were you shoving through there?Don't tempt me with thoughts of such evil things. I have plenty of other projects to spend money on... |
