And so it begins.

She isn't in as good of shape as I was told when I bought it but hopefully by summer things will come together.

Just dropping in to say hi as I will probably be becoming a regular here soon. I just sent payment on a 91 turbo mr2 and can't wait for its arrival. I have long had a thing for the mr2 but could never find teh right one at the right time. I am coming from a mainly honda background and am looking forward to starting with something new. Hopefully I'll learn from you guys and make this car as nice of an example as possible. I already have some ideas floating around so we'll see where it goes I guess.

Here is where I'm coming from right now.

When I won ride of the month
converted almost fully to type r(inside and out)/ tein flex/ advan rg

Now
converted to 04-05 type r/ mugen grill/ volk le37's

Thanks guys. I am definitely excited to start on this. I'm not going to start bashing the hondas though because most of mine were done tastefully( I unfortunately had a ricer phase early on) and performed well and gave me little problem. I also made a lot of good friends from ephatch and I hope to here as well. It was between an mr2 or a s2000, but I chose the 2 because I used to really want one and getting it means I can pay off some bills and have an awesome car. Which I wouldn't have been able to do if I got the s2000.

The mr2 has finally arrived. New wheels have already been ordered and the quest for my parts list has begun.

I have to say you made a great choice over the s2k. My brother and best friend both have one and after driving their cars I couldn't wait to get back behind the wheel of the MR2, it's just more exciting in an MR2. It is such a fun car and I'm sure you will have some great times in it enjoy.
