And another newbie here...
Hello! I'm MGalo and I have an '03 Spyder. I started on MR2OC, then went to spyderchat and I'll be coming around to share a bit do some more learning. I'm in Indy and am a retired mailman. I plan on doing a few mods for a bit more hp/tq for competing in autocross events and general spirited driving.
Anyway, it's good to find another MR2 outlet. Galo(aka Mark) |

Thank you!! I'm a newbie at this Spyder stuff, but I've been learning a lot on SC. I bought my Spyder 12/28 and it's only been parked 3 days. I tried to drive it 1/1, but put it back in the driveway. I put some Blizzak WS60's on it, and it is a snow/ice eating machine. I LOVE my Blizzy's!
Anyway, if I can help with something, let me know, and I'll never be too bashful to ask questions myself! Here's a pic or two; ![]() ![]() Last edited by MGalo; 02-27-2008 at 09:30 PM. |

Why thank you Davis! It was the third Spyder I had driven in my quest for Spyder-dom. It WAS a 1 owner with 25k miles. I'm doing my best to keep it nice AND make it better. I can hardly wait to put the summer tires back on, but Winter HAS been fun with the Blizzak's providing fantastic grip.
Anyway, it IS nice to find another outlet/resource for the Spyder and make more friends who aren't on Spyderchat and MR2OC. Everyone have a great day!! |

turbomr2xxxxx, I'm pretty sure I saw you heading South on I69 a month or so ago! I am a p/t courier for a path lab and I go to the Ft Wayne Lutheran Hosp complex Mon thru Fri. There are at least 3 more Spyders(+ some MkI's & II's) in Indy, a black one and another red one. Anyway, I WILL be dropping by here and MR2OC often to see what's happening here, but I spend most of my time on spyderchat 'cause there is SO much specific info there. Well, I gotta' get a PCV Valve so my spring tune-ups will be done, Later, Mark |

you might have, if so that would be a good day. I have not had much time in the drivers seat since fall. so if it was a nice day it might have.
there are two other yellow mr2s in, one is NA and some girl drives and the other i would be surprised if you see it. it has 40k on it and the guy never ever gets it out. like once or twice ayear. and it wouldnt be a month ago haha. you would know if it was mine, my turbo wistles like a diesel truck and the exhaust is kinda loud right now. |

The windows were up, so I don't think I could have heard you. The 4Runner I drive is rather noisy! Oh, it was a sunny day too! I saw a red MkII in the south Campus garage at Lutheran 1-2 weeks ago.
Yah, we'll have to get people together. I'm not too familiar with that area, so is there somewhere kinda' in the middle that would be interesting. I'm not much on "meets" either; I'd rather "meet" at a SOLOII event and socialize between runs. We'll see what can be done, it's only 2/28. |

No really, I almost moved to the Bay area in the late '80's, but chickened out. I doubt anything can be worked out that quickly, so you'll just have to get a place in AZ that is big enough for a bunch of frozen Hoosiers to thaw out![]() |

haha if everyone wants to pitch in I will get a huge house!! then everyone that has pitched in is welcome. maybe we can have meets there and party all night and drive all day. if we get enough ppl to pitch in a will even build a race track right there on the land!!
it will be the best mr2 meets ever!! hahaha wow that would be great if that happened but i highly doubt it, im just getting a two bedroom apt for now |

Well, I wish I could help out, but my wife says AND my Spyder payment say I stay...
I DO wish you the best though. Take advantage of EVERY opportunity that crosses your path...I just made that up, and it's pretty good! |

Good words to live by, just make sure the water isn't too deep
the way I look at is things are meant to be. If I had gone to Cali, I'd never met my wife, I probably wouldn't have this Spyder AND I wouldn't be exchanging these posts with you! So see, sometimes it works!! |
