Hey guys, Figured I'd introduce myself
The names Josh. 1987 MR2 is my first car and I still have it to this day.
18 years old now and enjoying every minute of it.
My knowlege of cars isn't too great ( but hey, whos is when they first start)
But I learn more and more everyday.
Got my MR2 off my sister for $500, Which I thought was a steal (Has about 94k miles on it) Recently replaced one of the tie rods and had some new tires thrown on.
I've grown to admire this car a lot. Only draw back I really run into is space.
( won't be picking up the kids anytime soon, and sure as hell won't be doing and extensive shopping)
But I've learned to get around that.
Currently thinking about doing an engine swap like to a Jdm 4agze supercharger.
I'm up for any suggestions though, would be much appreciated.
Only problem I'm really running into at the moment is the fan in the back near the engine block. My guess is I blew the motor so hoping to buy new one soon. Not really sure what it does beyond cooling off engine block.
Help once again would be much appreciated if anyone has any tips

Live down in Florida, with hopes of one day racing in the gumball 3000.
Saw my brother in laws dvd of how they got the opportunity of racing and filming the gumball 3000 with torquenstein. ( Imv films: team torq and the scumballers)
Have had the chance to not only get the feel of my car, But my Sisters MKIII as well.
Took it down I-75 got up to about 120 ( got a little shaky, think something was loose in the front left.. Lol)
It was fun though, kinda made me a little envious though whole power steering concept.
But nonetheless I wouldn't trade my car for much else out there.

Oh okay, I know where you're at. Yeah, my MR2 has been running since day one. Although engine is about to roll on to 170,000 miles already, may need to start thinking about a swap soon.
