Hi there. I am the owner of a 1991 NA mr2 with a automatic that I bought for the gas mileage. It currently has issues with the transmission slipping and the crossmember being rotted away pretty bad. So I registered here to see if I could find a x-member. Location is Hamilton MI.

the crossmember is rotting away! Wow, don't think ive ever heard that happening before.

could you take pics of it so we can see?

The road salt reaks havoc on cars around here. I will put pics up soon. I put it up on blocks this past weekend to change the transmission filter and once I rested the x-member on the blocks the rear wheel actually turned. So I thought it might be about time to replace it.
