Welcome
. depends on what you want really. Turbos are nice, but can get you in trouble real quick, they also come w/ a premium price. If this is your daily driver, you really can't go wrong w/ a N/A, and if you live in a place w/ crappy weather, the hardtop is always nice.Shouldn't of mentioned you were a girl, now you'll have dozens of internet dudes being like 'OMFG! girl who wants/likes mr2's!lkKJDhasjldhsda!!' haha. Goodluck w/ your find! |

They are more because of the turbo. With turbo, of course the car is faster, however there is more things you will have to worry about fixing, if something breaks. Your best bet is if you find an MR2 you are about to buy, post up about it here and get some second or third opinions about it. Describe the best way you can and post some pictures of it.

I would say go turbo, because once you want to start modding your car you will wish you had one. hard tops are hard to find and cost alot, but the moonroof is good also. and yes a girl that want a turbo mr2 is like the ultimate girl

Gen3 swap DONE!!

I'd say MKII N/A. I have a hard top and yeah they're hard to find but personally I just love the looks of it over the T-bar. If you know how to work on car pretty well, know a friend, or a good mechanic, a turbo would be cool. Its just that labor on MR2's seems to cost out the ass. I've never actually let another mechanic work on my car but I've got quotes just to see what it would have costed, its not pretty. Lol Really though what are you going to do with the car? Daily? weekend car?

when you do end up buying a deuce, you can always come to me for the ultimate engine bling. powdercoating is the best way to go to protect your engine components from the elements and bring your bling factor up!

Damn thats cool to see other contour/mondeo owners here. I own a svt tour also. Love it. But as for the mr2 I love the t top way better. Who cares if they eventually leak. You cna always fix that. I love driving with the tops out. Hard tops are ugly to me imo

definitely get a non-turbo.
-virtually maintenance free -cheaper insurance -takes regular gas -30mpg can't go wrong with a non-turbo. A girl that likes white mr2s... NICE! hahah |
