Hi there,

I'm Jordan and I don't actually own an MR2 yet. I've found the MR2 community and am set on getting one soon.

I'm a college senior, graduating in May. Simultaneously, I'll be commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Marine Corps.

Great forums here - I envy all those with beautiful MR2s!

Hey! Good to see another Minneapolis face. I'm here right now actually, on break from school.

I'm set to buy an MR2 NA tomorrow morning - wish I could have connected with you earlier to perhaps see what a cared for MR2 looks like; get a reference point, you know?

As far as the Marine Corps - I'm excited. Thanks for your comment.

Where are you buying the car from? If it's in the Minneapolis area I'd be happy to help you check it out. Heck, I've met most of the MR2 owners in the area so I might even know who the seller is.

Welcome to the board Jordan, post some pics when you get a chance, we always like to see some newly aquired MR2's. Also good like in the corps, as Gairloch said you are very brave for doing so.

I was almost set to work up by you both, a contract in Plymouth MN just got away from me...oh well, maybe next time.

Damn, that would have been cool to meet up. Ijust had the interview with United Health Group 2 days ago, but the contract fell through due to miscommunication about the software. I'm sure I'll end up in that area within the next 6 months or so, and I'll let you know when I do.
