Cool prospective owner

Hey all
I currently own a 2000 Tacoma that I love but unfortunately is also involved in a serious recall involving frame rusting problems. I may be bought back by Toyota and I might have to buy another vehicle. I have always loved the 1990-1994 MR2. I am considering buying one but am having a hard time finding them for sale. Does anyone know a good place to look. I really would like to get something that was taken care of and in good condition. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. I hate to get rid of my truck but the possibility of owning an MR2 is really exciting.

My Google Map

Usually you have to wait it out, and travel across country to find a good deal. Luckily for you I believe you're up in the NE section of the states which opens up a lot more possibilities (lots of good cars on the east coast, specially further south like Georgia)

I would chekc autotrader.com, any local newspapers and such, this message board, and mr2trader.com. Mr2oc.com has a pretty good selection too. Goodluck with finding one! AWESOME cars!

The number one place (in my experience) to find a good deal on a tuner car is craigslist.

I have bought 4 vehicles on craigslist (a pickup truck, a supra, a 1st gen awd dsm, and my mr2 turbo), and I got great deals on all of them.

The secret is to check ALL the craigslists nearby, or as far as you're willing to drive, and not just the one for your city. It seems like a lot of work and searching, but I promise it will pay off.

Hope this helps. Good luck!
