19 year mr2 racer-need mark 1 parts?
Greetings,
I'm new to the Mr2 Trader. Actually, the MR2 Trader wasn't available back in 2000 and 2001 when I last logged on as Old Racer. Unfortunately after 19 years of Competition with my 1989 S/C I'm retiring the car, for sale. Can't tell ya how much fun it's been. A truly Great car!! I raced a v6 Fiero fastback for 2 years and decided I wanted more power plus TRD had this great 15% off for competitors with mr2's (back then). I'm a budget racer so that was really important. In the meantime guys, I've accumulated a garage packed full of both N/A and S/C parts. Partly, due to the fact my wife and I have had our 87 N/A street cars distroyed in rear end accidents down here in South Florida. (Where the immigrants do not, repeat not, know how to drive!) I'd be glad to throw out advice on parts and procedures, as I have memorized the BGB Service Manual in my sleep for the last 19 years. Electric problems are my favorite. See ya down the road.. PS I still drive a street version 88S/C, can't give 'em up you dig.. |
