Just wanted to say "Hey". Owned an 86 back in 86. Traded it in on a 88 Mustang GT. Got married and the wife couldn't handle a 5spd, so I've been driving automatics since. My oldest boy recently turned 16. In the process of looking for a beater, I started looking at MK1's again. Sure would like to pick one up for a DD for cheap if possible.

Welcome back to the mr2 community, and craigslist is one of the best ways to located mr2's in your area.

Hmm just looked at the dallas/fortworth area which IIRC is close to plano. But alas nothing mk1 but alot of TurbOed :P mk2's
