Another noob here saying HI (UPDATED PICS ON POST #13)
(UPDATED PICS ON POST #13)
I picked up my mk1 a few weeks and really seem to enjoy it so far. Unfortunately it is seriously under powered but great on gas. 3rd gen 3s swap coming soon to cure that though. This week it is getting detrimed and ready for a complete paint job (same color) and not from Earl Scrieb either as I work at Caliber Collision. As for me, I am a die hard Toyota guy. I currently own an 08 TRD edi. Tundra, 07 Highlander sport and the mk1 now. I have been spending the last 5 years with the mk3 supra and had started out with a non turbo and worked my way up through building a total of 5 of them. My last one was a 91 1jz singled with a TON of mods. I am looking forward to my stay here for awhile. Here is a pic of my2 and also of my 91 that I just sold ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by cnewingham; 06-19-2008 at 10:02 PM. |

Very nice rides. Where are you located? There is a Caliber Collision center by me in Oceanside, CA.

I didn't know that Caliber Collision had more than one location, I thought it was a 1 store 1 owner thing. If you are in San Marcos, I am having a small meet in Oceanside: SD (Oceanside) In-N-Out Meet 5/20

nice rides. the gas is pretty good on mine too, i didnt think it would be so cheap. i filled up with like 41 dollars on premium. thats a nice supra. my cousin is in the process of building his mk3 also. it started off small but he bought a bunch of stuff that will at least hit 400 horses. its crazy.

Well the body and paint work is done and I bought my 2 some new shoes (Gram Lights 57maximums) 16x7 33mm offset all around with Yoko Parada 205/45/16
I love this little thing even though it is lacking about 400 less hp than my Supra had. Pics will be uploaded tonight when I get home so stay tuned |

Caliber Collision, eh? Your San Diego/Kearny Mesa location did my '93 back in 2004.. Repaired some frame damage, removed dings, repainted the entire car, etc.. Great shoot, but lacking in prep work in a few spots.. I'm hoping you guys will honor your "lifetime warranty" on worksmanship defects
