Hello
Hello everyone my name is Brian. I'm 22, a scorpio, and that's enough about me lets talk about my car.
I recently came into ownership of a 91' Turbo, White. Before I acquired it, it had been sitting in a driveway for two years. Because of this theres some serious corrosion going on. I'm talking rust spots, bad paint, basically a bunch of work. It also wouldn't start and the clutch sticks to the floor. I couldn't figure out why the car wouldn't start so I sent it to the garage where it currently is. It's now running However the hydraulic line had a hole in it. So it got replaced and now it looks like it needs either a slave cylinder or a master, my mechanic thinks its the master. Woo more money spent. Theres some other things as well that need fixing struts and such, some interior parts but I'm working on a lets get the thing on the road policy.Basically what I'm saying is that my car has been neglected for awhile and because of that has all sorts of problems. This means I'll be relying heavily on this forum and its members since I don't know much about mr2's or doing body work or much else. However I love working on my bike and I'm excited to start working on a much bigger project. I have access to tools, and luckily have some friends with bodywork/painting/mechanical experience. Pictures will follow as soon as I get it home. For now just picture a 91' turbo white. Also head over to wheels/tires suspension forum to comment on my other thread. Thanks |
