New Minnesota MR2 MK2 Owner

Hello everyone,

First let me say thank you to everyone on this site. I have learned a ridiculous amount about MR2s and cars in general from just browsing this site.

I have a 1991 Black MR2 I just bought a few weeks ago as my first 'project car.'
Mileage: 170k

Here's a picture:

I have since removed the pinstripes and generally cleaned everything. I have flushed and replenished all of the fluids as well.

The plan is to make sure the engine is in decent condition before anything else. I really have never worked on many cars before, but I really would like to learn with this car. It is not my daily driver so I could care less if it just sits on blocks all day.

Again thanks to everyone!

Welcome! Make sure you check into the Minnesota regional forum. There's a bunch of us that try to help each other out with stuff when we can.

I'm in St. Louis Park.
