New kid on the block
Hey guys I just joined this site today. I've been an mr2 fan since I was about 14 when I first realized how amazing these cars are. I'm now 18 and a die hard Toyota fan. I have owned my car since January of 2008. When I got it it had a blown engine, dead battery, spray can paint job, bits and pieces of blue interior, and no front bumper. It looked like it belonged in a junkyard...if they would be so kind to take it that is. Since January I have spent a lot of time and money and it still looks pretty bad and still does not run but so for I have bought...
-A newer 5SFE that hasn't been swapped in yet -93+ Wheels/tires -94+ Tail lights/center panel -94+ Spoiler and trunk lid -94+ Bumper with lip -94+ Steering wheel -94+ Turbo cloth seats -Black dashboard -Black center console -Black seatbelts -Black carpet -Black e-brake -TRD short shifter/knob -New OEM shift boot and shift surround -Miiiint OEM double din headunit I'm sure I'm missing a few minor things. If you can't guess the theme here...I'm going for the 94-97 MR2 look. I want my car to appear bone stock as Toyota wanted. I plan to paint it back to the original Nautical Blue very soon. Unfortunately I won't have much time for the car once college starts. I will be attending the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia (USP) for Pharmaceutical Sciences so that should keep me a bit too busy. I have logged my progress thus far on my flickr site which can be seen here... MR2 Project - a set on Flickr |

looks nice man. keep up the good work.
bit of advice, I know you want to keep OEM 95 look on the car , but have you considered getting one of Toyota's generic wheels off of the newer MK3 or even the Corolla? |
