Another newbie, to the MR2 community.

Hello everyone,

Checking out the site, will do more reading then posting for now.

Became an owner of an '89 SC , this past week (this is my second MR2, owned an '85 previously). I had to fly into Tampa and then drive it back to central Illinios. Had been searching for a while, wanted a White/5spd/SC. Ended up with a grey/auto! I am not trying to change mine/or anybody else's opinion, I did right by the auto trannny, but after driving it 1100 miles, I am totally OK with an automatic

! At this point, the auto seems a better choice long term, for me. The tranny is not my main concern right now, it needs a paint job. Have to deliberate if I want to paint it white,or just go with the original color?? Any suggestions? Will post pics later.

I welcome any comments or suggestions, I hope to avoid any pitfalls which some of you have gone thru with everone's help.

I cant answer body/paint questions as im more of a mechanical guy myself....
