New Mr2 GTS

Hey guys

finally some photos

bought this 1993 from an importer in montreal, 108 kms, very great shape, just needs a little paint here and there. Love the car, even though its right hand drive- not
my favorite. I'm justin, 26 YO male in Sudbury Ontario. Love cars and all things related to them. Work as a full time automotive journalist writing for several magazines, websites, newspapers and a television segment. Looking forward to using the boards..

Wow, looks clean, especially the rims. My 93's collect so much brake dust. Are you planning on keeping it stock?

ya its super clean. Underneath even... like there's still paint on the control arms and where the suspension bolts to the body. Just needs a working stereo and a fuel gauge (well new cluster)

Think I'll have the turbo rebuilt this winter, turn up the boost a little and get a bigger intercooler for it, thats pretty much it. Great little car the way it is.

Do most people on this site have the north americn models? i was looking at them, and you tend to pay more, get less power, waaaay more rust and double the mileage.. but again wrong side drive ie no more timmies drive thru!

Most of the deuces I've seen are left side drive on this site. Mine is, and it was one of the cheapest and least rusted I've seen on the board (it does have crazy high mileage though, and possibly not as much power).

apparently the jdm ones have more horsepower than usdm... like 225 or 242, not sure what mine is to be honest. Im not a fan of right side drive whatsoever but the sacrifice gets you half the mileage and a cleaner car. and free horsepower... and all the right side drive shennanigans you like
