I am debating whether the MR2 would be a better DD + track or a E36 325is. The MR2 is cheaper on the market than the BMW, but I think the BMW would be better for rain/snow. Correct? The E36 is a little more expensive on the market depending on what condition it is in ( same goes for the 2 ). I plan on DD and maybe an occasional autocross/track day. I think the MR2 and the Bimmer would be around the same amount of money to maintain for the track... Your opinions?

Oh and the E36 is definitely more practical for DDing with the trunk and back seats and all.
