I didn't know the mk1's had a heating problem, care to elaborate?

Yea, they sit and the goo in the cooling system accumulates and presto it gets ugly.

You'll see black sludge in your radiator top bleeder, sometimes so bad it won't work.

Wait till you open that remote thermostat housing, might look like a red sand pile in thar'.

Don't be surprised if that bleeder on the thermo doesn' t work, or is clogged also.

If you drive 'em regular you never see this, if you buy 'em like
I do and crash 'em it can get real disgusting and the same crap, is always is the same.

I've got a bunch of repair tips as the car starts failing to work, (headlight, door switches, etc) PM me and we'll talk.
