New to MR2 forums
Hi my name is Danial I live in Snellville, GA my first car I bought on August 27, 2008 at 4:47PM at the Wachovia on Buford Drive near the Mall of Georgia but it wasn't an MR2. It was a 240sx which I managed to sell on October 13th, 2008 at approxiamtely 4:45PM but now I'm in the market for a MR2 Gen 2. There is just one quick question I'd like to ask how hard is it to do some body work on a MR2 and how hard would a swap be. Thanks for taking the time to welcome me and read this.
Thanks Danial |

Hello Danial! Welcome to the board!
In my opinion the MR2 is a pretty good car to work on, body and engine likewise. I personally haven't done much bodywork to my MR2 so I couldn't tell you exactly what to expect. I don't see it being very hard though. As for an engine swap, that can be pretty straight forward considering you have the correct tools and a good place to work on it. I've changed engines in my MR2 and there was nothing too complicated about it. And depending on what type of swap you get will be the deciding factor on how hard it would turn out to be. |

Yeah, welcome aboard.....
Bodywork is just like how it is on any other car and the same goes for the swap. It really depends on what your ultimate goal is. Its always possible to do something as long as you have the $$$$ ![]() |
