My 91 MR2 turbo project
Hi everyone im new to this forum and im happy I found it. Im in the process of fixing up a 91 mr2 turbo.. needs work.. but I think little by little my baby is gonna look HOT! (haha only a girl would use the word HOT for her car!!!!)
Heres how im taking it.. 1) engine (any parts recommended to change first? blow out valve is my #1 sounds HORRIBLE!) 2) exterior (black/hot pink theme) keep in mind it is a girls car! 3) interior (2 tone same as above, dont know how imma get a black dash though) keep in mind this process will take anywhere from 1-3 years money is tight these days! |

Well welcome!! Most likely yes change the BOV because that can start more problems if you dont. I would do a paint scheme similar to my car, except with the pink/black colors rather than the red/black. Just search around on this site for parts, many Mr2 owners are parting out cars, so im sure you could find one cheap..

just look around this board alot. alot of people part out cars pretty often, sometimes they will have full dashes for sale, or you may nee to do it piece by piece. Just depends on how lucky you get.

there was one part out on here where the guy was selling a turbo radiator with fans for $150, don't remember where that thread went, but yea, if you need OEM parts i'd ask Aaron from Lithia Toyota...... he's on here somewhere. But yes it is located in the front.

u can see the radiator from the front of the car, its in the bumper (not literally, but u can see it THROUGH the bumper
and yes good thought on getting some help, i sometimes catch myself pretending i know wat to do, and sometimes my help does too! F***in retards....make sure ur help actually know wat there talking about! otherwise ur BOTH stuck! and also, if u drive an MR2 there is a 110% chance your car is ALREADY "HOT"! |
