Introducing myself---

Hello,
I am ekim4 (Mike C.) from New Albany, Indiana in the states. I retired four years ago after being a police officer for 36 years. The last 14 years I was Chief of Detectives. I am a father of 5, grandfather of 7, and have been the proud owner of a 2001 MR2 Spyder since August. I bought my car from the original owner who was as anal about taking care of it as I am. It was like new and had 50,000 miles on it. It is silver and I have added the 03+ side vents, a spoiler, JDM badges, a new sound system, and 04 leather seats. I have taken care of the pre-cats and have been searching desperately for a grill worthy of such a car. One of the nice thing about the car is the nice people I have met on line in the various clubs and organizations. I am amazed at how quickly most are glad to assist a "nubie" such as myself.

Welcome Mike! New Albany isnt far from me at all. Perhaps in the spring you'll make the journey across the bridge and come out to a few Autocross events and see whats going on. I'm currently trying to organize a meet/photoshoot for Kentuciana MR2 owners.
