Supra enthusiast trying my hand with an AW11 (56k warning)

Hey guys and gals! Happy to join another enthusiast forum!

I'm a supra enthusiast looking to have some cheap fun with an AW11.

Pics of AW11 soon to come, but here's my current DD:

Old Supra which I flipped as a summer project. Learned a lot and got to drive a fast car. All for a profit!

ugly engine bay:

Ya, I love the MA70's, but my god are they heavy...

I bet a mk2 would be a blast with a powerful motor.

Welcome aboard... Very nice car indeed. My cousin is a supra enthusiast himself. i think his screen name on supra forum(s) is (supraholic) or somethingl ike that. he had a 91turbo white one stolen and currently owns 92turbo auto converted to manual black. Maybe you've seen it around the forums...

Is that Miguel? Or Manny? I don't visit supraforums too often, IMO, it's poorly run and hard to get good info out of. I strongly prefer supramania.

The car was stock. I just restored it. The project was not to make it a dream car, but rather bring it back to life. It hadn't run for 2 years before me.

I'm in my senior year of college and this isn't going to be my main car. Most my money will be going to the mk3, so I have limited funds. Hence the aw11.

Preference. Easy to work on. It's a turbo truck engine, so there is gobs of torque on tap and in all honesty, i think it's a better engine for making streetable power.
