Looking at MR2s

Hi guys.

My name's Dan and I'm a car nut but I come from a Ford (Focus) background. I came in here to ask some advice from some owners, since I'm involved in a little car shopping right now.

My brother is in need of a ride and we found a nice looking 91 MR2 locally that looks to be in great shape, good price, but it has had a "JDM" engine swap and I'm having a hard time determining what it is or if we can find replacement parts for it if anything breaks. Looks like an old 2.0 3s-fe but I'm not at all positive so I'm looking for some input on that. Where do I need to put that in here to get a good answer and maybe a little input on the car.

Figure I might as well throw the pic in here in case someone can answer me off the top of their head.


Any thoughts on the matter too would be appreciated. Thanks!
