Newbie in Colorado
Hey all
My name is Carly and I just bought an 86 MR2... decent shape, runs, no exhaust, a little rusty around the edges, 4AGE engine.... pretty excited to start working on it when I have some free time. Definitely going to be asking some questions, exhaust is gonna be the first hurdle so I can register it... It has the first piece of the manifold (from 4 converging to 2) but I might get some nice new headers.... |

Welcome! $300? I don't blame you for not turning that down. Now break out the camera and let us see what you got for 300 smackeroos.

Not a bad buy at all! What do you mean by no exhaust? it just has no exhaust except for the headers? |

Interesting... I can see how that could cause problems ![]() If you're going to do headers you may want to get them in there before you get an exhaust made, i bought some second hand off of here but they aren't a bolt on. Also i found it easier to drop the exhaust manifold once the oil filter was off. Have fun though! |

But really if you go for a new exhaust it wouldn't be that much different of a price between getting an exhaust made for the stock manifold, vs aftermarket headers. Sucks about the battery. |
