MR2 member with no MR2!!

sup everyone my names sean im actually in the market for an mr2, im in south florida i recently gave up my honda project (RHD Del Sol) im gonna be selling the shell and getting a new daily driver... hoping it will be an MR2 MK2 but we shall see, not much out there for sale right now. Seems i have alot to learn about whats interchangable and what not as it is NOT the same as hondas lol *the reading begins*

Hey Sean, MR2's are a bit different from any other car. Being as old as they are obviously they need work. Maybe it's just me but I find working on the 2 a pain in the ass. But good luck to you. Great car, fun to drive, and it's gets a lot of attention.

Make sure to check out each potential car closely, as some Mr2s aren't treated so nice.

im in sunrise, im real close to palm beach and coral springs, i cant find anything... and to the dood selling the black one im in the market right now.. so in a week i may not if u catch my drift... msg me if ur rdy ill come see it i have a pending sale on a white one up north florida... btw T-Tops only :P

Mr2's are great cars in the long run. Yeah they can be a pain in the ass to work on at times but it depends what you are doing in the big picture. I have a 91 turbo smg that I bought as a hunk. I done alot to bring her back in shape. The good new is that I have done nothing to the drive train other than mods and I drive it 20 miles to work each way, sometimes in bad road conditions. But all in all. I drive it everyday so that means everyday i enjoy going to work. Just do your research and you could find yourself a fun and realible car.

well i baught it, the car is in amazing shape, original paint, white, t top, NA... no accidents its an all around great car, and on top of that it has the trd suspension kit struts/sway bars so not a bad way to start out... the drive home (1 hr and a half away) was so relaxing lol mr2's rock.. time to read up on NA to 3sgte swaps lol

Hey I may be in the market for that, what are you asking and when? I'm In Orlando but I'd drive. My 2 was one of the unlucky ones that wasn't treated so nice and I really want to fix it up so I'd be as good as my old 1991 (JDM 35,000 clicks on it, barely broken in, it was cherry.) But I dunno if fixing mine is worth it all the money I'd have to poor into it to get it barely close to my first one.
