Hey there, Im New

Hey there everybody, well i just sold my truck and am going to montreal, canada. to pick up a jdm mr2 turbo (1992), i live in ottawa and I am 17, have 2 jobs and full time school and spend all my money on vehicles and cant wait to get working on this mr2. i am very excited to get it but also very leary as for what to look for. im not an expert by any means when it comes to cars but not an idiot either, if you guys could give me some tips as to what too look for for wear and or any help at all for what to expect it would be much appreciated. Im not the average highschool/college kid that wants to get a car and drive the piss out of it. i want to come out with something classy and done right, no corners cut. i realise that it would be best for me to get the 3rd gen mr2 after some reasearch about the oversteer issue, but they are tough to find ad i can get some wicked deals on tires at the shop i work at, hoping this could aid to dampen the oversteer loss of traction. this is getting long winded so il end it now, thanks for any advice and i have a feeling i will be posting much more in th next couple weeks.

welcome to the board. Oversteering isn't really an issue if you can drive. Just know your limits and don't push the car more than what you are capable of.

Get into an open parking lot and get comfortable with the car. you will find out ways to make the mr2 out handle pretty much anything with some practice.
