Newb checking in from Texas

Yeah I've been trolling the forums for a while usually helping my friends with their cars and looking at 4age related things. Anyways got into cars at a young age and decided to go to tech school for body and paint. Learned how to work with metal and some welding. Took a job in AR as a welder/brazer for an a/c company got bored of shooting turtles so I made it back to San Antonio working for an engineering company as a sheetmetal fabricator.

I'm not really new to toyotas but pretty new to the mr2 .Previously owned a 3s-gte swaped 91' Celica GT, 86' Corolla Sr-5, Evo 8 , 97' Mustang GT, 91' Celica ST, and a couple others. Mostly have experience working on toyotas, but put in work on several Rx7s and a couple Nissan 200sx/240sx and of course several civics and accords because of my friends.

Came across a really nice deal of a good 85' mr2 with 86' parts car for cheap but couldn't afford it at the time so i convinced my neighbor (diehard rotary nut) he needed a daily at the time because his "racecar" is down for "upgrades". Well since his rx7 is taking up his garage he asked to put the parts car in my garage. Well i sold my mustang and ended up buying a 86' MR2 w/sunroof. Sorry i don't have any pictures of my 86' yet but here are some of my other cars.

1991 Celica GT with St165 3S-GTE:SDS Standalone EMS, RC 550cc, Greddy Profec-B,GM coilpack, GM 3bar MAP, Greddy BOV, custom manifold w/ t3/t4 turbo, Tial wastegate,FMIC, 3'' turbo-back exhaust , Magnaflow muffler, couple other things

Mostly stock 86' SR5 with 32/36 webber

2005 Evo 8 Greddy SP-2 3''cat back, Greddy BOV, Greddy Profec B Spec II.

1997 Mustang GT almost stock with MAC CAI and 12'' Alpine Type R sub and Eclipse Amp.

My friends 86' Mr2 parts car currently in my garage:

fresh rebuilt motor that came with it dying to go into something
