Ok I'm new here.
Just got a 1987 MR2 red t-tops , from my buddy who owned it since NEW.
I loved it since the day he got it and Now its Mine with lots of cash spent on body work. Little spent on engine work.
I get about 500 kms or about 310miles per tank full ,1.6 kms = 1 mile

So you didn't get it on craigslist?

Thats 500 km per the full 40 litres right? And thats city mileage? Or combined? I did a quick look at my fuel consumption the other week and i was getting something very similar to that (a little worse) but i was kinda thrashing it so i think i could get way better numbers...

Nope did not get it on craigs list..but thanks for the reply
The mileage is combined getting 500 to 530 kms per tank full i put in a fuel additived and it increased from 400 to 500 red line is the fuel injector cleaner i used. Cost is 11 dollars from the local canadian tire store

I never really use additives except one i used recently to clean injectors i think, i'd have to check the bottle to see what it's all actually supposed to do.
