Cool i got myself my very own MR2 but i have a few issues and i hope that someone can help

i just got a 91' mr2 turbo in boca and well in the first week it threw off a code 42 and 52 and it has oil in the intake system and some in the intercooler. what do i do? it also has a lack of power. besides those issues when it was working it gave a phenominal amount of power.

Before someone else says it, the information below is coming directly out of the BGB (the toyota service manual), its your best friend and you can view it online at MR2-Tech.com - BGB

42 - Vehicle Speed Sensor Signal
52 - Knock Sensor Signal

I'd try and search on those key words and see what comes up.

On a side note, when I want to search mr2.com for short phrases, I actually prefer using one of googles "advanced" features and doing a seacrch with the "site" restriction. i.e.

site:mr2.com code 52 knock sensor

For instance:

simple search

Personally I haven't seen either of those, but I've seen them come up on the boards before. Welcome and good luck.
