My whole MR2 interest started when me and my cuzin were driving around and seen a 1991 Red Toyota MR2 and it had a for sale sign on it. I got off the car and knocked on his door and asked how much was the car for sale and he said $2000.. and asked if I wanted to test drive it and of course I said yes. After wards I get in the car and turn it on and I hear that engine roar behind me and turned on headlights and I loved it. He said dont be afraid to gun a little and of course he let me take it down the street.. first thing that amazed me was the engine sound in the back as you gun it and ever since I've been a mr2 fan.. even tho I dint buy the car cuz I dint have a job at the time and now im on the hunt for a MR2

Welcome! Do you know if it was a Turbo? $2000 is a pretty good price for an MKII. Good luck with your search to fill your need.

He showed me the engine and I did not see a turbo even tho it sounded very nice inside..
