french owner's of mr2 mk2

hi everyone

first , thousands sorry for all the mistake i will do in english,i will do my best so don't hesitate to correct me or explain

i am a 24 years girl, and i leave in france,in "bretagne" near the sea(diffcult life...)
i am a Driver of works in a construction company,that's not really a girl's work but i love it....

to explain how i purchase my mr2 , i have to explain some things:
my boyfriend is an addict of supra,a own several celica supra,which are very fun cars but "male" as my taste,i often drive them because they are fun but they aren't my taste

one day , he decide to swap a 7Mgte on one of his car ,so he found one mk3 with engine trouble(BHG,what a surprise...)


it was a mint 92 , when i see it ,i say to him thats i couldn't cut it just to take engine/tranny and all he need to swap the 7mgte in his celica supra
i decide him to fix this one and search for an other engine
he found a wrecked one a swap on the blue celica supra(powerfull car after that)

my boyfriend fix it but never drive it,too much weight not enought fun for him,so that was my first toyota sport car:


a really good car
complete package of options
red , targa ,leather seat,cruise control,A/C, power mirrors,heat seat......
i really like to drive it but i quickly understand my boyfriend mind when he say:too heavy cars
i ride her some mounths,race some stupid guys(love turbo engine and torque,so easy to say bye bye....)
but here where i leave they isn't a lot of straight line and i really like cornerings(i am also a motorcycle biker's..)


so we decide to sell it
my ask was a good looking car(like the supra mk3) but lighter
first i take a look to LOTUS but they were too expensive for me , and my boyfriend is really a toyota fellow addict...

without saying anything to me , he found me a white mr2 3sge rev 1 ,156hp at a very low price because engine have 230 000 km and some minor brake issues
no A/C, no power steering,no cat --------}sports car
he show me picture send by the previous owner and immediatly i love it:



we go to see it and make a trip of 400 km to purchase it

when the guy arrive with her ,T bar off , i immediatly want to ride it,i was tired before but no more after,i make the road on it with so much pleasure

it's really an incredible car but everyone here knows this...

back to home with the DD of my boyfriend:


so , brake issue was fix by a rev 3 brake package , bigger than rev 1 and tiny rim in 14 by rim in 16 of supra for clearance

like this it's perfect for me
and some exterior mods to be pretty...(i am a girl )




i am still looking for adjustable coil over, anyone have idea or feedback???


here in france mr2 turbo never was officially imported
2 week ago my boyfriend found a nice JDM 3SGTE rev 3


will be on my car soon but will do some work now,timing belt and clutch ( more easy when it's outside of the car)

i just need a complete exhaust pack(stainless steel will be perfect, i hope some vendors have this in stock..?)

voila,here the beginning of a very long story,i hope...
i already get a look in lurker mode on the forum and i see how much you are crazy

i hope i could tune my car as i dream her,with your help maybe...
