Hey everybody. I'd like to first introduce myself. My name is Steve, I'm currently driving a 99 Civic Si right now. I'm planning on getting a MKII Mr2, as a second car, sometime before september. If anyone can give me some tip about looking for a reliable mr2 to buy.

I'm from OC, California. Well I've owned that si over a year, I got to admit, I worked it on it too fast. I got it bone stock btw. Reason I wanted a MR2, I got bored of the civic, I wanted some new and challenging, always wanted a turbo car, always wanted a s2k, so mr2 would be great choice. Since I don't see much around here in CA, I hardly see a modded mr2

^^^^^^What you guy think? I know is salvage title and the damage, but that's a good price right? I'm still not sure if I should get it or not because that's way too cheap

For this car to return a favour, I'm only guessing but you'll need to give it a **** lot dude. You are surely buying a lot of work. I'd rather trade the Si out for a good MR2 coz not only are you bored with it, you'll forget about it completely if you get a tidy MR2 in.

That's not too cheap. Good condition NA's are going for around $2k now. So you could try to get the price down if you really want it, but you said you wanted a turbo.

im sure you like the fact that it needs work, so you do it all yourself and pride over your accomplishments once its done BUUUUUUUUUUUUUT that thing needs TOO much TLC

imo steve, keep looking... your stumble upon something in much better condition for a fair price...
