I'm new here.

Help. I'm planning to buy a Mr2. But the color of the interior is blue. I don't like it. Is there anyway that I can change it.

Angry

Thanks. Yeah. I've been hesitant to buy because of the color. I was so addicted going to Mr2 site. Almost everyday for the fast 4 months. I'm jealous of you guys showing your Mr2's. I own one back on 1997 but I traded in for pick up truck. Now I found this site and I envy you guy's. I also own a gts 1987 corolla but I also sold. And I miss both cars.

Since it ain't exactly easy sourcing all of the interior pieces (and expensive as all get out) you could try replacing the seats for a start. I had a blue interior in my hardtop turbo, didn't like it too much either. I reupholstered the seats to black and it made quite the difference.

welcome bro, for the interior pieces, if you have a hard time finding them, I suggest buy a can or two from your local auto shop, is called "vinyl paint" made by duplicolor.

Actually that stuff can work quite well, just prep properly and do it right. Its not as common as it used to be that paint since vinyl went out of fashion in the 70's. My dad used it on some marine seats and it looks quite good and is still on there after a few years and thats an open front boat.
