Kia Ora

Another kiwi from the the Z-land, good looking 2 you got there, I'll swap you my engine bay for your body paint I actually just blew my box as well it went in style throwing gear teeth all the way. Kinda looks like the place I brought my mkI from as well.

There are a few threads on gearbox oil here generally any good brand synthetic MT fluid shouldn't give many problems, I used 75-90 Valvoline in my last box that went bang, syncros were good and it shifted smooth. Some people swear by such and such and others something else but it depends on box condition and mileage above most things.

Welcome! Preeeeetty car! What engine do you have in that? In the US, only the 5S-FE (2.2) was available in the N/A . . .

I'd be reeeeaaaal careful playing around with transmission fluids and gear oils. I know my N/A manual trans uses ATF. Weird to me, but Toyota had a reason, methinks. Anyway, good luck!

Definately diggin the wheels and the lip spoiler on the back... sweetness. Sides and bumper look good too, nicely and tastefully upgraded in my opinion. Welcome to the board .

Dude wat? No Fair! You uptrade to a turbo and I've still got my mkI beater that is ready to pop. It looks purdy, I'll have to get to painting mine so people can say the same thing to me.
