Hello!

Hi! I'm new to the boards! I used to own a 2003 green Spyder. I had the tan top with the two-tone leather interior, but alas, I had to sell it. I don't own one now, but I plan on getting myself a first gen. (hopefully in the not too distant future!)

I am a girl, I drive a stick and I know a small bit about MR2s, but I am not an expert by any means! I enjoy watching and even at times helping my boyfriend work on his MKII.

My current car is a Del Sol. Hey, if I'm gonna get something reliable, I might as well get a Honda imitation MR2, right?

haha, nice! welcome to the boards. best of luck to finding a MK1!

I keep on seeing MKIII drivers here in my town, and they don't even look when I wave at them...:/ no spirit of the car in the drivers...other MKIII drivers in GA wave at me though.

again, welcome!

Del Sols are the same way... They all act like the typical civic owner.... it's sad.....

I had someone in an Automatic Camaro tell me my MR2 sounded like a weed whacker. :/ but ran an 1/8th mile in 11 seconds...silly trash talker right? just a random fact while we were talking about driver interactions.

What a Cretan!
Did dust a Mustang awhile back. Hopefully Camaro's will be back we they belong with the rest of the GM junk, save Corvette.

Well Howdee Mrs (&Mr)

Just noticed there are several Mark 1 Mr2 Supercharzed cars on the Club Website for sale (as you mentioned you were looking for a early mr2.)

Altho Supercharged models are justly more on the upkeep end, you've got a live in Mechanic that can do the major/serious wrenching for you. (You go girl!)

Not discounting the more reliable Normally Aspirated cars, you just might be more impressed with the additional "fun" of a pressurized engine and give hubby a run in his car if you choose to run a larger Supercharer pulley for increased boost.

Always interested to see the opposite sex's input on our Club Website.

No, we aren't going to Denton. Too much going on, plus I am working and we both have school.
