New here
Hey guys whats up. im looking into getting a mr2. one of my friends has one and he let me drive it and i just fell in love. Right now i drive a 95 prelude special addition. So not to bad. So i am looking to get one soon. im trying to find a stock one that has never been messed with or as close as i can. Or one with simple things like rims or what not. Im on a prelude forum so not really new to forums. i know how to post pics and what not. So just wondering what you guys think about this particular 2.
1991 Toyota MR2 I have seen up close pictures. there is a small dent in the drivers side rear quarter panel and a crack in the front bumper. It has brand new tires and altinator belt. there arnt supposed to be any more problems but who knows. i might go look at it but just wondering what you guys thought about it. Thanks |

with the info given, it seems like a good buy. i own an mk1 so take it with a grain of salt but the price seems a bit low. the milage is also really low which is good. it would be nice to see some more info on it and some closer pics. looks good from the info given but def look deeper into it.

just buy N/A and swap later. you'd think an N/A would have been cared for a little better and not thrashed out...

Heck, if it runs I would go with it. It looks pretty clean. I would fix the lights.
The car looks stoned. |

the only thing that i dun like is there is no badging on it. there are cars that i def would remove them, but the mr2 is a car i'd be proud of. i'd be proud to say i am part of such a great community

Welcome!
So put new badges on! I got lucky on my 2: super cheap, but didn't run. Got it running for $100. ![]() Even the N/A is really fun car to drive (I've never even driven a turbo model) and swaps are fairly common and seem straightforward. I'm thinking of a v6 swap myself. ![]() I noticed the Ohio plate . . . I'd just be extra careful about rust. Good luck! |

def talk him down a bit cause even if you can get 100 off its more to put into the repairs. it all depends on inside pics

Price is a little high, considering it needs a paint job, its an NA, and needs some body work. May also need other thigns that you don't know yet.
