New Guy in MD

Hi everyone, I'm Matt and I don't own an MR2 yet but I'm avidly searching for one that I can buy relatively cheap and fix up, and make her my own. I live in Maryland, and would love to become one of the proud MR2 owners. Oh and I'm a poor college student, so accumulating money is not an easy thing for me.

Welcome Matt,
Where you going to school at ? What gen 2 are you looking for ?
Looks like you got a few gold bars stashed away somewhere...
Gold is at an all time high. Cash one of those in and get a super low mile
one owner SC MK1. You will not be disappointed.

alot of people don't seem to like the way the mk1 looks but really, for the price you can get one for, holy crap its so much car. i was considering a civic because you can get them so cheap but really you can get an mk1(much more fun to drive, and slightly better looking imho) for the same price. gl on your search sir!

He will have to go to the Netherlands and make a deal ... as there is really only one "low mileage one owner SC" I know about for sale... and Bahrani just sold it.... It is an 18,000 mile showroom perfect white 1989 SC ... its on a boat now on the way from Canada to the Netherlands.... oh yeah, it sold for $22,000 (US) too.

Regardless whether you get the MKI or MKII, you will not be disapointed. Check craigslist or this forum, I'm sure you'll get a deal if you look enough.

Welcome to the boards and keep us updated.
