New from South Florida
Hi guys,
Not an actual MR2 owner yet but I soon hope to be. I'm coming out of the Turbo Buick (Buick Grand National) community after being there for a few years. I love the GNs and they are monsters, but I've decided to get into something a little more "fun" to drive, and I know the MR2 can produce outside the 1/4. I love turbo cars and am not looking for anything but. I'm interested in MKII cars...any specific year I should look/look out for? Any tips on buying or where to look? I have been searching around on this forum a little and have began to do my reading. I have a few general questions, and would appreciate opinions on a local MR2 I found on Craigslist, but will wait for your approval to post the link... Thanks! |

I bought it.
It drove smoothly, heavily modified but done right. Engine and Transmission are both excellent. It was in a VERY minor front end collision a couple years back and they never fixed it. I ended up fixing it myself and replacing the entire front bumper. Overall...worth it. |
